I have spent the last two weeks going through the JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and PHP (only halfway through for now, though breezing through it as its very similar to javascript) tracks on codecademy. I have a goal of creating a browser-based multiplayer text game similar to NationStates or Cybernations. Though codecademy has given me a decent understanding of the languages, I don't really know where to start. What should my next step be? Any basic tutorials for doing this stuff? Thanks!

May 30, 2014 I am creating a text-based adventure game as a.bat file, just for fun, and would like to share. I am looking for constructive criticism and advice, as I hope that this little project gives me a more advanced knowledge of.bat scripting.
